In update 5.0, there’s also the addition of the Typewriter Assault rifle in Save the World and various tweaks to existing weapons. The tactical SMG has now been added to the vault and the damage of the semi-auto sniper rifle has been increased from to 75/78 from 63/66.
Fortnite Submachine Gun Stats
The submachine gun is available in common, uncommon and rare variants. It takes light ammo, has a 30-round capacity and a base damage of 19-21. You can pick up the new gun in chests and floor loot. Epic Games says that the new weapon is ideal for close quarter encounters.
