Ghost Of Tsushima – How To Unlock All Stances
The four different stances in Ghost of Tsushima are all unlocked in a similar way.
Stone Stance
The first stance, the Stone Stance, is automatically given to you at the beginning of the game.
This stance is effective against regular grunts and swordsmen.
Water Stance
The Water Stance will be automatically unlocked when you have killed or observed three Mongol Leaders. These can be found during the missions, in Mongol camps, or roaming around the world.
Upon killing or observing these three different leaders, you will obtain the Water Stance, which is effective against shields.
Wind Stance
The Wind Stance will be automatically unlocked when you have killed or observed 11 Mongol Leaders (eight after unlocking the Water Stance). These leaders can be found during missions, in Mongol Camps and roaming the world.
After you have killed or observed these leaders you will obtain the Wind Stance, which is effective against spearsmen.
Moon Stance
The Moon Stance is automatically unlocked once you have killed or observed 23 Mongol Leaders (12 after unlocking the Wind Stance. These leaders can be found in Mongol Camps, roaming around the world, or in main and side missions.
After you have killed or observed these leaders you will obtain the Moon Stance, which is effective against brutes, as you are able to pull off strong, charged attacks.
