Gran Turismo Sport will be releasing with a lot of extra goodies next year for the PlayStation Pro. GT Sport, which has been delayed to 2017, will be releasing with 4k rendering, HDR, and virtual reality support. It will also have supersampling for those of us that are still using standard HDTV’s.

GT Sport release date set

There is currently no specific release date announced for GT Sport other than the ambiguous year 2017 tag attached. This will also be the first Gran Turismo game for the PlayStation 4.

Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi in the past stated “GT Sport is a regular title of the GT series. The gaming content is so ample that you can consider it as ‘Gran Turismo 7’. It is titled ‘GT Sport’ because the ‘Sport Mode’ of the game is important. If I have to change a statement, maybe ‘Gran Turismo 7 Sport’ is a more correct name.”
