Grand Theft Auto V PS3 to PS4 comparison video showcases visual leap

Rockstar Games has released a video comparing the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 releases of Grand Theft Auto V and the differences are notable.

In the PS4 version, environments take on a more detailed appearance and are populated with significantly more plant life like shrubs and grass. Additionally, a greater number of wildlife and people fill up locales of Los Santos and Blaine County. The open-world game’s lighting receives an upgrade in the jump to the new generation, allowing better reflections on the surfaces of vehicles. The resolution bump to full high-def 1080P certainly helps as well.

With the ability to play in first-person perspective (video below) and better control inputs, Grand Theft Auto V is shaping to be a fantastic package, even for those who have played through the game before.
