Preorders for Grand Theft Auto VI are reportedly going live on May 18, 2026, according to a leaked Best Buy email.
As spotted by the X account Grand Theft Auto 6 Alerts, a number of people online have reported to have received an affiliate email from Best Buy regarding the preorder campaign for Rockstar Games’ upcoming crime opus. It reveals the date as May 18, which hopefully means we won’t be getting any more delays for GTA VI.
Naturally a lot of folk are hoping we’ll be getting a third trailer for GTA VI soon, as it’s been over a year since the last trailer for the game was released.
In related news, Sony has been sending out emails to PS4 owners suggesting they upgrade to the PS5 for the release of GTA VI on November 19, 2026. It’s been 13 years since the launch of GTA V, so anticipation is at an all-time high for Rockstar’s latest entry in the franchise, which publisher Take-Two has reportedly spent in the region of $1 billion – $1.5 billion on the game so far.
