GT5 will have two Collector’s releases, says Sony India

Atindriya Bose, head of PlayStation India, has confirmed that Polyphony Digital’s eagerly anticipated racer Gran Turismo 5 will have two Collector’s Edition releases for punters to get their mitts on.

As readers may recall, Sony America lifted the lid on a GT5 Collector’s release back at E3 last month, which clocks in at $99.99 USD. However, according to Bose, this won’t be the only special pack available.

“For GT5, there are two collector’s editions,” said Bose, during a chinwag with IndianVideoGamer.

“One is the game plus some added content and collectibles, while the other is in a really big package with a lot of paraphernalia that goes beyond the game. It’s all car-related, but I’m unaware of the exact contents.”

Concurrently, Amazon.fr posted up an “édition ultime” version of GT5 for the rather substantial sum of €190 on its website, though neglected to divulge any details regarding its contents.

GT5 will be released in North America on November 2, though a European release date has yet to be announced. Stay tuned.
