The ridiculously long-awaited Heists for Grand Theft Auto Online will be added to PS3 and PS4 "in the coming weeks", Rockstar has confirmed.The multiplayer mode, first announced before the game’s initial release in September 2013, will roll out on consoles first as the PC version was further delayed to late March.
Heists will let players plan and carry out heists with three teammates. There will be five heists to begin with consisting of twenty different missions between them. Rockstar has said that the new content shall add around 20 hours of additional gameplay.
Rockstar has previously stated that the original ideas for the much vaunted mode did not feel up to scratch and that meant reworking them from the ground up, which played a significant part in the lengthy delay.
