Base.com has posted up a listing for the freshly-announced Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition, and it carries a rather hefty price tag of $70 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Meanwhile, the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch editions of the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition are listed for $60. While nothing has been confirmed by Rockstar yet, it would appear that it’s going down the path of charging an extra $10 for Sony and Microsoft’s latest home consoles.
The GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition was announced on Friday and includes remastered version of three PS2-era classics: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
While a release date has yet to be announced, the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition will launch at some point this year, and is being positioned to coincide with the 20th anniversary of GTA III.
In related news, Rockstar Games is heavily rumored to be working on Grand Theft Auto 6, although the latest reports claim that the game won’t be released until around 2025.
