Halo Campaign Evolved Third Person Halo Studios Halo: Campaign Evolved News Perspective Skull PS5

Halo Campaign Evolved Will Let You Play The Game In Third-Person View

Halo Studios has included a third-person viewpoint option for Halo: Campaign Evolved, which is available as one of the game’s 42 modifiers known as Skulls — in this case, the ‘Perspective’ Skull.

Naturally Halo is know for being a first-person shooter and as such Halo: Campaign Evolved doesn’t feature third-person as its default perspective. However, you can toggle the aforementioned Skull to allow you to experience Master Chief’s iconic adventure from third-person if you fancy at change of viewpoint.

Skulls are collectibles so you will have to locate the Perspective Skull in order to change the viewpoint, and right now Halo Studios obviously isn’t saying where you can find it.

Halo: Campaign Evolved is pencilled in for a July 28, 2026 release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. The game fully overhauls the original 2001 shooter Halo: Combat Evolved’s campaign for modern platforms, featuring remade character models, environments, as well as introducing a number of all-new prequel missions.

Earlier this year, it was claimed by insider Rebs Gaming that Halo Studios is working on remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3, although nothing official has been announced at this point.
