Speaking during an interview with GamePro, Mathijs de Jonge, Game Director on Horizon Forbidden West, has revealed that the game’s main quest will take players roughly the same amount of time to finish as its predecessor.
While he didn’t put a figure on the completion time, de Jonge did add that those looking to complete the game 100% will naturally have to spend much longer on Horizon Forbidden West. There’s obviously a lot of optional quests tucked away in the sequel, so expect to extend your play time quite a bit if you’re looking to see everything the game has to offer.
Developer Guerrilla Games previously revealed that Horizon Forbidden West will feature a single ending, although it will be ‘strong and impactful.’
Horizon Forbidden West is scheduled for release on PS5 & PS4 on February 18, 2022. The sequel will feature major stars from both Black Panther and The Matrix, and you can watch the latest trailer for the game here.
