Horizon: Zero Dawn Collector’s Edition has us throwing our money at the screen

Amazon has revealed the Collector’s Edition for Guerrilla Games’ hotly anticipated Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Priced at $119.99, the Collector’s Edition release of the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive action-RPG includes a wealth of physical content, including a 9-inch statue of protagonist Aloy, steelbook case and a 48-page artbook.

In addition, the bundle also offers a wealth of in-game items, such as a PS4 Dynamic Theme and various content to supplement your adventure.

Horizon: Zero Dawn delayed to early 2017

Sony announced yesterday via the PlayStation Blog that Horizon had been pushed into early 2017, with the game arriving in the U.S. on February 28 and March 1 in Europe. The game was originally due to hit PS4 later this year.

Horizon: Zero Dawn takes place on a post-apocalyptic earth in the distant future, where robotic dinosaurs prowl the land. Players hop into the shoes of a seasoned hunter name Aloy, who must hunt down these mechanical behemoths in order to salvage their valuable components.

The open-world RPG is the first new IP from Guerrilla Games since Killzone in 2004, and is a rapid departure from the science-fiction first-person shooter franchise.

Expect to hear more details on Horizon at E3 next week. For now, check out the new trailer.
