The Game Awards has announced its full list of nominees for the upcoming 2017 event, which takes place in December.
Among the list of games in the running for the Game of the Year gong include Horizon Zero Dawn, the PlayStation 4-exclusive action-adventure title from Guerrilla Games.
It’s up against some stiff competition mind, with the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Persona 5, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds also nominated for the award.
Horizon is also in the running for a number of other categories, including Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, and Best Action/Adventure Game.
In addition, Aloy’s voice actress Ashly Burch has also been nominated for Best Performance for her work in the open-world title.
Elsewhere, Resident Evil 7: biohazard has picked up a nomination in the Best VR/AR category, alongside the PSVR-exclusive Farpoint.
In addition, fellow PS4-exclusive Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has been nominated for Best Action/Adventure Game.
