Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet To Feature RPG Progression System, According To Dev Resume

According to the LinkedIn profile of an Associate Technical Director at Naughty Dog, the studio’s upcoming Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will feature an RPG progression system.

The resume mentions “RPG progression systems on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet” among the employee’s works, which also includes The Last of Us Part II Remastered and the cancelled The Last of Us Online project. Naughty Dog hasn’t announced anything about this specific feature being included in Intergalactic, but we’re bound to hear something sooner or later.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is still in the early stages of development, and is not expected to launch until 2027 at the earliest. Nonetheless, Neil Druckmann has stated that the team are already playing the game at the Naughty Dog offices, and has described the sci-fi adventurer as ‘incredible’ so far.

Back in May, it was revealed that Tony Dalton was offered a role in Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, after he impressed Druckmann with his work in an episode of HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2, where he portrayed the father of Joel and Tommy.
