Iron Galaxy Studios Could Be The Dev Behind The Rumoured Fallout 3 & Fallout New Vegas Remasters

The long-rumoured Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas remasters are reportedly being handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, with a post on the developer’s LinkedIn heavily indicating it’s working on the project.

The post was shared on the day of its February company meeting, which was held “to catch up with what the company’s been up to and what’s coming up next for IG.” The image features a “Please Stand By” notice that you would usually see at the start of a Fallout trailer.

While Bethesda hasn’t announced anything official about revamping Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, we’ve been hearing chatter about them happening for a while. Back in January this year, a report on Windows Central regarding the future of Xbox stated that Fallout 3 Remaster is in the works and would be similar to what happened with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, with Fallout: New Vegas also in the pipeline.

In addition, VGC reported in late 2025 that Fallout 3 Remastered is one of the “other things” that Todd Howard mention as being in the pipeline during his interview with GQ magazine. Furthermore, Howard acknowledged fan demand for a Fallout 3 Remaster during a chat with Dexerto, although wouldn’t say much other than “we’re working on a bunch of stuff” at Bethesda.
