Liberated: Enhanced Edition will launch on April 20, 2022 for PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, Atomic Wolf and L.INC have announced. The game was originally released for Nintendo Switch in December 2020, and comes to Sony and Microsoft’s consoles with a number of bonus goodies.
Featuring a story that takes place across the pages of a comic book, Liberated: Enhanced Edition takes place in a near-future dystopia, marrying hand-drawn graphics with interactive and side-scrolling action. The game focuses on the efforts of the titular Liberated, an insurgent growing that rises against an online-only society that resulted in full government control over everything.
In addition to performance enhancements (although these seem to be for Xbox Series X/S, the press blurb doesn’t mention PS4), the game features full English voiceovers and two epilogue chapters in the shape of For the Homeland and Glory to the Heroes.
