Sony’s customizable platformer LittleBigPlanet has now spawned over four million user-created levels worldwide since launch.
Speaking with the PlayStation Blog, Product Manager Alex Pavey revealed that 4,141,742 levels have now been created across LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2, which launched earlier this year. Doing the calculations for us, Pavey calculated that “if you played LBP straight for 12 hours a day and only played each level for 5 minutes, it would take you more than 78 years to play through all of them.” That’s quite an impressive statistic.
Talking about the LBP community, Pavey said: "We’re constantly delighted – and amazed – by their ingenuity and creativity, and it’s so inspiring to see the level of affection that exists for LittleBigPlanet amongst fans around the world."
Sony also confirmed that new Sackboy costumes for Killzone 3 and Tron Evolution will launch at the end of April and beginning of May.
