Insomniac Games has continued to tweak the controversial scent trails in Marvel’s Wolverine in the game’s latest patch, which is now available for PS5 owners to download. With Marvel’s Wolverine update 1.002.001, players can now toggle story-related Scent trails, which combined with previous updates, now gives players more control over the various Scents and audio cues. Marvel’s Wolverine is a standalone entry based on the popular anti-hero, telling a self-contained story while sharing continuity with other Marvel worlds established by Insomniac. Players control James ‘Logan’ Howlett, aka Wolverine (played by Liam McIntyre), a mutant with regenerative healing powers and retractable claws that embarks a globe-trotting journey as he brushers shoulders with other iconic characters such as Mystique, Omega Red, and the Sentinels.
The latest update for Marvel’s Wolverine (1.002.001) adds a new toggle for story-related Scent trails. Alongside previous updates, players now have more control over the visibility of Scents, Audio Cues, and Nightmare Roots based on community feedback.
This update also addresses community-reported bugs and crashes to improve overall game stability.
