The newest patch has landed for Minecraft on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita simultaneously.
This is a relatively small update, but it targets very specific areas of the game, including the use of Redstone as well as spawn rates in particular scenarios. All three updates, share the same changes as well, with the only difference being one extra patch for the PS Vita version.
PS4/PS3/PS Vita
– More Redstone fixes.
– Increased minecart limit.
– Stopped tamed horses despawning when they are in a fenced-off area.
– Crafting a map now produces an Empty Map.
– Fixed a crash with a Noteblock.
– Fixed an issue with village generation.
– Fixed an issue with Witch Huts allowing other mobs to spawn in them after a reload.
– Fixed an issue where Blaze Spawners and Chests don’t appear in the Nether after a Nether Reset.
– Fixed a crash with Minecarts travelling through Nether Portals.
PS Vita Only
– Fixed a problem causing clouds to look 2D
Unfortunately, PC features like using Lapis Lazuli for enchanting haven’t made their way to consoles yet, but until then, patch 1.14 should make the available experience even more enjoyable.
