Mini chat-board to improve Home communication

German-based peripheral manufacturer, Speedlink, has today confirmed that it will release a PlayStation 3 mini chat-board that’s aimed at improving communication on PlayStation Home and making surfing the net easier.

Available in European territories this month, the peripheral is an attachable mini keyboard that appears to fit rather nicely on top of the controller with a simple clip.

Powered by two AA batteries, the chat-board sports a standard PC keyboard layout and connects to the PS3 via the 2.4GHz USB receiver.

If you fancy it, it will knock you back EUR 29.99.

It doesn’t look quite as nice as the official PS3 Wireless keypad that was released last year, but it seems to be a decent, cheaper alternative.
