Monster Hunter Wilds GamesCom Demo Reportedly Runs At 30 FPS On PS5

Capcom‘s Monster Hunter Wilds has stirred up quite a reaction this week due to reports that its demo runs at 30FPS on the PS5, which isn’t exactly the frame rate performance people expected from a triple-A title nowadays.

Monster Hunter Wilds is playable at GameCom 2024 this week, which is obviously a big deal in its own right, and many folk are impressed, but there’s reports floating online that it fails to hit that magical 60FPS mark. People are claiming it’s capped at 30FPS, and has some noticeable stability issues.

While the has got some folk into a bit of panic, Monster Hunter Wilds is still without a fixed release date, and this demo is obviously not from the final build of the game. As such, there’s plenty of time for Capcom to optimise its performance.
