Player First Games has announced that MultiVersus Season 1 is launching on August 15, after previously revealing it had been delayed.
While at the time it didn’t reveal when Season 1 would launch, the company has now taken to Twitter to confirm that it’s only a few days away.
We’re excited to announce Season 1 will begin on August 15 with a brand-new Battle Pass for you to earn in-game rewards!We can also confirm Morty will join the character roster on August 23 as part of Season 1. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks!
Quick Note: Everything we are bringing to you in Season 1 will not drop on the same day. New modes and content will be spread through the life of the Season. We’ll continue to share dates on all the fun things to come!

It was previously reported that MultiVersus has amassed 10 million players despite only being available in Open Beta form. In addition, Player First Games confirmed that Season 1 will include 50 unlockable tiers, as well as an Arcade Mode and Ranked Battle.
