Player First Games‘ MultiVersus was the best-selling video game in North America last month, according to the latest NPD figures.
MultiVersus is free-to-play game but managed to generate significant sales via its Founder’s Pack bundles, which retail between $40 — $100. This was enough to push Elden Ring down to second place, while third place went to LEGO: Star Wars — The Skywalker Saga.
MultiVersus is currently available in Open Beta for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Season 1 of the game launched last week, and will offer Arcade Mode, Ranked Battle and much more, as well as new characters such as Black Adam and Stripe.

Furthermore, a recent datamine suggests that Beetlejuice and The Wicked Witch of the West will also be coming to the brawler. More snooping in the game’s files also unearthed the entire move list for Morty, who is coming to MultiVersus later in Season 1.
