The latest MultiVersus update rolled out yesterday for the launch of Season 1, and dataminers have already been poking around in the game’s files, which has unearthed a series of dialogue indicating Beetlejuice and Wicked Witch of the West are coming to the game.
According to Twitter user @AisulMV, the Beetlejuice dialogue is believed to be voiced by Christopher Swindle, who also voiced the character in LEGO Dimensions. The lines include quotes from the movie but also reference other characters, including what appears to be the Wicked Witch of the West.
Here’s some examples:
- “I’ve teamed up with a green-skinned angel”
- “I hear you’ve got a thing with water, me too!”
- “Man, I always wanted one of those flying broomsticks”
- “Ooh ooh, can I have the little dog this time? I’m hungry”
- “Is someone going to Oz? If so, I missed that memo.”
- “Those monkeys aren’t housetrained are they? Haha, I like that.”
- “I’m melting, MELTING!, Oh wait, that’s your line”
- “Not time to hit that Yellow Brick Road yet”
- “Couldn’t you send some of those monkeys my way?”

Yesterday it was confirmed that MultiVersus would be adding Black Adam and Gremlins’ Stripe to the roster during Season 1.
MultiVersus is currently available in Open Beta on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
