New FIFA Soccer for PS Vita trailer shows touch screen integration

EA Sports’ upcoming FIFA Soccer on the PlayStation Vita is set to release alongside Sony’s upcoming handheld gaming device this February. With a range of new features that utilizes some of the unique aspects of Vita, this iteration of FIFA will include the same physics-based engine from the PlayStation 3 versions.

In addition to a hefty assortment of modes, like 11 verses 11, Be A Pro, real-world competitions, and a full career mode, Vita’s touch screen and rear touch technology may be utilized, but these features are optional. The trailer below highlights how you can use the touch screen capabilities for passes, shooting, free kicks, and defending.

Look for head-to-head online play, as well.
