The PS5 is slated for release in holiday 2020, and it is unlikely to see a delay unless Microsoft decides to postpone the launch of Xbox Series X.

Sony unveiled the DualSense controller a few weeks back, confirming a number of new features for the pad, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and a new Create button. The touchpad from the DualShock 4 also makes a return, and design-wise, the controller is very similar to the PS4’s pad.

The PS5 will feature full backwards compatibility with an extensive range of PS4 games, although rumors of the system playing PS1, PS2, and PS3 games have been firmly debunked by Sony.

Yesterday it was reported that Sony has planned a May event for the PS5, so we could possibly see the full console design unveiled next month.
