Fresh details on upcoming PlayStation 3-exclusive RPG Tales of Xillia 2 have surfaced in the latest issue of Japan’s Famitsu magazine.
According to the publication, the sequel will feature a few familiar faces from the original game, namely in the shape of Alvin and Leia, who return as playable characters. Since the events of Tales of Xillia, Leia has been busy studying and appears to have grown up somewhat, taking on a more adult image.
The main character this time around is Ludger, who is looked after by his 28-year-old brother, Julius. Also new to the table this time around is Nova, a classmate of Julius who handles Ludger’s loan repayments.
Tales of Xillia is due for release in Japan on November 1, 2012. A western release has yet to be confirmed, but we’ll keep you in the loop if we hear anything.
