Square Enix has just dropped 9 minutes of new NieR Replicant gameplay for PS4, as well as a few soundtrack samples for you to lose yourself in.
The new gameplay focuses on The Barren Temple and exploring the environment, speaking with the people residing here. Later on, though, we do get a new look at combat, which is looking fantastic, with blood and visual effects particularly standing out.
As for the new soundtrack samples, we get a look at Kaine’s theme (the “Another Edit Version”) and a number of other samples from various areas and points in the game. You can watch the new gameplay and listen to the soundtrack samples below:

NieR Replicant has been long-awaited by fans and we are now just over two months away. A gameplay trailer just debuted at The Game Awards and Square Enix has said that they may add Papa Nier to the game if it sells enough copies.
NieR Replicant releases for PS4 on April 23, 2021, and is playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
