Ratings body PEGI has re-rated retro platformers Pandemonium and Pandemonium 2 for PlayStation 3, all but confirming the due for release on the EU PlayStation Store.
The original Pandemonium was developed by Toys for Bob and released for PlayStation, Sega Saturn and PC back in 1996. Pandemonium 2, developed by Crystal Dynamics, followed a year later for PlayStation and PC.
Both titles employed a 2.5 perspective, fusing 3D rendered backgrounds with 2D-based gameplay.
Pandemoinum is already available in North America, though the sequel has yet to arrive over there. No word yet on when we can expect to see both games arrive on the EU PSN, but we’ll keep you updated.
