It was just two days ago when Sarah Needleman reported in the Wall Street Journal about this new Fortnite Trend. She said that instead of parents restricting their children in playing Fortnite, they are actually throwing good amounts of money on Fortnite tutorials or coaching lessons.
And these Fortnite coaches do not come cheap. One parent, Ally Hicks, spent $50 for a four-hour ps4 Fortnite coaching session for her 10-year-old son. Mrs. Hicks told Wall Street that “There’s pressure not to just play it but to be really good at it,” So indeed, some parents look at Fortnite as part of their child’s well-being just like academics and sports.
This new Fortnite trend has gathered a variety of different responses from the parents community and the gaming world. Some parents who are also Fortnite players say that going to Fortnite tutorial or coaching lessons is a great bonding activity for them. Other parents however, said that it was plainly horrible and ridiculous to somehow feed your child’s addiction to Fortnite gaming.
What about the reaction from Fortine gamers on this hot topic? Well let’s just say “strike while the iron is hot.” – Fortnite coaching jobs have started to pop-up on the web everywhere. As such, accomplished Fortnite players can take advantage of this opportunity to earn money while still playing the game that they love.

To be fair, anything that’s too much is bad whether it’s are academics, sports or games. And Fortnite is not all about violence after all. Children can learn strategies, friendship and healthy competition. Valuing wins and accepting losess are also great values for children. It should always be balanced by physical activity though for a healthy lifestyle.
