Gearbox is staffing up for the next Borderlands game

Gearbox overlord Randy Pitchford has confirmed that the studio is in the process of hiring for the next chapter in the Borderlands franchise.

Square Enix targets 30fps/1080p for Final Fantasy XV on PS4 and Xbox One

Speaking during a Reddit AMA over the weekend, Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata confirmed that the studio is targeting 1080p/30fps for the final version of Final Fantasy XV on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Resistance trademark stirs rumours of PS4 reboot or new title in Insomniac’s shooter series

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has trademarked the name RESISTANCE, suggesting that there could be a revival of the shooter series on the cards.

Rumor: Assassin’s Creed 2016 set in Japan

According to an eagle-eyed Ubisoft forum user, the next chapter in the Assassin’s Creed franchise following the already-confirmed AC Victory will be set in Japan.
