Final Fantasy XV release date set, says Square Enix

Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata has revealed that the company already has a release date in mind for the hotly anticipated JRPG, Final Fantasy XV.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare tops U.K. Chart, is 5th fastest-selling CoD game ever

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has manouvered into first place on the U.K. All Format Chart, beating out first week sales of Destiny, Titanfall, and Wolfenstein: The New Order combined.

GTA V PS4 launch trailer unleashed

Rockstar has unveiled the official launch trailer for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Grand Theft Auto V.

 

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11

Just Cause 3 announced for 2015 release

Grappling hook aficionados, rejoice. Just Cause 3, the long-awaited open-world action sequel from the folks over at Avalanche Studios is officially heading to PS4 in 2015, publisher Square Enix has confirmed.

PS4 Firmware 2.02 now available

Sony has released PlayStation 4 Firmware 2.02 for players to download.

Bloodborne pushed to March 2015

From Software’s upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive hack-’n-slash title, Bloodborne, has been delayed until March 2015, Sony has announced.

Sony celebrates 20 years of PlayStation in new video

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has launched a new video celebrating 20 years in the console business with the multi-million selling PlayStation brand.

PlayStation Now getting Mass Effect 2, Mirror’s Edge

Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced that PlayStation Now will be receiving five new titles for streaming early next month, including BioWare’s critically acclaimed Mass Effect 2.

Uncharted movie turned down by Chris Pratt

Hollywood heartthrob Chris Pratt turned down the lead role in Sony’s planned movie adaptation of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a new report has claimed.

PS4 beats Xbox One in U.S. for October 2014

The latest NPD Group figures have confirmed that PlayStation 4 has outsold Xbox One in the U.S. for its tenth consecutive month. 

GTA Online clocks up 2.3 billion hours

Rockstar has revealed that Grand Theft Auto Online players have notched up a staggering 2.3 billion hours across 244 countries.

Evolution Studios details DRIVECLUB compensation package

Evolution Studios, the developers behind last month’s PlayStation racer DRIVECLUB, has today taken to the game’s official Facebook page to share details of the upcoming compensation package for owners of game following its troublesome launch back on October 7.
