It’s been a busy week of PS4 news, so join us as round-up the biggest and best stories of the last seven days as we head closer to the big PlayStation Plus June reveal!
Call of Duty WW2 news
The week began with details of the Call of Duty multiplayer mode in which we learned about the new “assymetrical, narrative led mode”, while an update on the single-player campaign gave us some insight into the new playable characters.
Far Cry 5 news
After a leak which suggests that Far Cry 5 would feature a doomsday cult and have a religious theme, came no fewer than four Far Cry 5 teaser trailers which prepared us nicely for the big announcement trailer on Friday. We finally got to see the offficial announcement trailer and have the release confirmed as February, 2018.
Red Dead Redemption 2 news
Rockstar continues to teasing of the sequel to its Wild West classic with some stunning Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots. Meanwile the RDR 2 release date was narrowed down, and Rockstar explained why it’s decided to delay the game until 2018.
Destiny 2 news
Destiny 2 news continued to flood in following the big reveal. Bungie took time out to explain why matchmaking will not feature and Grimoire cards will be omitted in its sci-fi shooter sequel, while there was some debate over why the developer has chosen not use dedicated servers.
E3 2017 rumors
Rumors are hotting up ahead of E3 2017 with the suggestion that a God of War PSVR announcement could be made. The most outlandish rumor so far is that Sony could be preparing to reveal a successor to the PS Vita. Will PS Vita 2 make an appearance at the world’s biggest annual gaming event?
PlayStation Plus June 2017
The PS Plus June games list announcement is expected next week, but the PlayStation Plus June rumors and predictions are flooding in as Sony revealed all the upcoming PS4 games. However, there has been a leak for the PlayStation Plus June line-up, with PlayStation Turkey suggesting that Life is Strange and Killing Floor 2 will be two of the games next month.
