It seems that May’s PlayStation Plus games may have leaked ahead of the announcement. The leak discovered on Resetera points to some big titles coming to PlayStation Plus in May but it’s almost impossible to confirm this leak without any real source.
PS Plus May 2020 Free Games Leaked?
According to the leak, May’s PlayStation Plus games include the zombie parkour action title Dying Light, and the brutal Dark Souls: Remastered. Sony hasn’t made any official announcement regarding the PS Plus May 2020 free games yet, but this isn’t the first time that games have leaked ahead of schedule. March titles of Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces leaked ahead of any official announcement as did April’s offering of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and DIRT Rally 2.0. Still, it’s worth taking this with a pinch of salt until we have official confirmation.
Dying Light is an awesome zombie parkour action game from the creators of Dead Island. Though the game has been out for a few years now it continues to get support with free updates and even received some DLC with added new story missions and drivable sequences. Dying Light 2 is also in development for both current and next-gen consoles.
Dark Souls: Remastered is a fairly newer game but one that fans of the franchise would definitely want to delve back into. The FromSoftware masterpiece propelled not only the franchise forward but essentially created a brand new genre of games. Dark Souls has inspired many developers to try and mimic the formula, some succeeding more than others.
Sony now offers two PS4 games every month for subscribers to PlayStation Plus, having previously dished out PS3 and PS Vita titles as part of the package. Aprils 2020 lineup included Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and DIRT Rally 2.0.
