The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will reach a combined sales total of 110 million worldwide by 2019, publisher Take-Two said during its financial briefing overnight.
That’s at least according to sales estimates by research firm by IDG, which also claims that Sony and Microsoft’s current-generation consoles hit a combined total of 34 million sales as of March 31, 2015.
Furthermore, the firm predicts sales of 50 million by the end of the current financial year.
As previously reported, Take-Two announced during its earnings call that GTA V has shipped 52 million units worldwide, and that 2K is currently working on an unannounced ‘triple-A’ title.
