PS4-exclusive No Man’s Sky has been delayed – report

According to sources close to Kotaku, No Man’s Sky, the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive adventure title from Hello Games, will miss its planned June release date.

The site claims that the ambitious space exploration romp will instead be released in July or August, although it wasn’t able to pin down a specific launch window.

What’s more, a retail source working at GameStop says that the store was instructed to place a ‘Coming Soon’ banner over marketing materials for No Man’s Sky, as the June 21 release date is no longer happening.

No Man’s Sky features a massive game world to explore, with players able to hop into their spaceship and venture out into the universe to visit uncharted planets. So vast is the game that Hello Games has said that it’s impossible to visit every single planet on offer, though you can share info with fellow explorers.

The game was pencilled in for a June 21 release date back in March
