The latest entry in the Samurai Warriors series expands on the hack ‘n slash saga by exploring regions of feudal Japan. There’s 13 chapters in total that will focus on a series of colourful characters, including some of fan-favourite characters from past chapters and all new additions. The character development system has been revamped and the battle system tweaked, as we see the arrival of a new game mode named The Endless Castle. In this mode, players have to survive as long as possible and attempt to battle their way through increasing difficulty levels.You’ve also still got time to bag the PS4 limited edition.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5

While Tony Hawk is far from looking his best in the latest iteration of Activision’s skateboarding series, we’re hoping the gameplay is much prettier. Pro Skater 5 will take its inspiration from earlier games in the series as it heads back to its roots, with classic stages such as Warehouse, Hangar and School. The game will feature playable professional skateboarders, and give players the ability to customize and create their own parks. Featuring missions, objectives and co-op and online multiplayer, Pro Skater 5 will also feature a level-up system that will hopefully reward players for their grinding skills.
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition

The PlayStation 4 HD remaster of the action role-playing hack ‘n slash title from Nordic Games received rave reviews on its PS3 release, as detailed in our Darksiders 2 review. Gunfire Games is now in the hot-seat and promises upgraded graphics and textures and 1080p gameplay. Tweaks have been made, including better loot distribution and game balancing. Players will also benefit from having all the previously released DLC included in the price.
Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance

This sixth entry in the popular tactical role-playing series from Nippon Ichi focuses on a tale of revenge as players traverse across different Netherworlds to encourage the overlords to join forces against one big threat, the Void Dark. New to the franchise is a revenge system, a special attack known as Maougis and new playable character classes, including dark knights, maids and fairies.
Dragon Age: Inquisition Game of the Year Edition

We were a little disappointed to see that the full online component of Metal Gear Solid V was pushed back, but it should be worth the wait. Expect a vast multiplayer experience with large maps, vehicles such as tanks, jeeps and APCs, and a host of multiplayer game modes to keep you coming back for more. RIDE

You should check out the RIDE review, which was released in the EU earlier this year. It’s essentially a motorcycle racing game from the makers of the MotoGP series, with players able to ride hundreds of bikes on real-life tracks. RIDE is a motorcycle simulation rather than an arcade racer so expect a steep learning curve to master the controls as you customize your bikes and attempt to secure that coveted number one spot in the international rankings.

Clear some space and get ready to annoy the neighbours with the latest addition of Harmonix’s music rhythm game. You get to play lead and bass guitar as well as drums and vocals as you mimic what it’s like to be a real rock star on stage. More than 60 licensed songs will be available to play at launch with additional downloadable content being available shortly after. Saint Seiya Soldiers’ Soul

Developed by Dimps and publishied by Bandai Namco, Soldiers’ Soul is a 3D fighting game which improves on its predecessors with an upgrade to the graphics, as well as 1080p/60fps gameplay. This remastered collection of one of the finest franchise to have graced PlayStation consoles includes Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
