It’s been another great week in the world of PlayStation with plenty of PS4 news to sink your teeth into.
Perhaps the biggest PS4 news of the week was the revelation that the Destiny 2 release date could be set for September 8 and is likely to be accompanied by a Destiny 2 beta which will be a timed exclusive for PS4 gamers.
This was in the week that Bungie also announced more details on its last live event for Destiny. Age of Triumph lands next week and features new weekly rituals, loot and much more.
In other PS4 news, the much-anticipated Rocket League Season 4 launched adding a new competitive edge, and bringing with it with the impressive new Drop Shot update.
There was plenty of activity on the PlayStation Store too, with one of the PlayStation Plus April 2017 games being revealed, and a massive sale on cheap PS4 games with titles such as Uncharted 4 being discounted massively.
Some big PS4 titles got some major patches, including For Honor update 1.04, Overwatch update 2.08 and Ghost Recon Wildlands patch 2.0. Meanwhile, we heard about the epic new Nioh 1.06 update which brings with it 10 new missions for free.

Mass Effect Andromeda launched with mixed reviews due to some bizarre animations, and we got to learn all about romance, sex and friendship with aliens.
This week there were a lot rumors flying around, including the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date and the GT Sport release date (check out these graphics!), while Respawn Entertainment kept our feet on solid ground by lifting the lid of the Titanfall 2 free DLC which is coming next week.
