PS4’s Quantic Dream Collection box art revealed

Sony has unveiled the official European box art for the upcoming Quantic Dream Collection on PlayStation 4.

Check it out below, courtesy of the U.K. branch of retailer giant Amazon.

The Quantic Dream Collection is scheduled for release in March 2016, and includes high-definition remasters of the PS3 classics Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, which were released in 2010 and 2013, respectively. Beyond has already been released as a digital download via the PlayStation Store, while Heavy Rain hits PS4 in early March.

In terms of new additions, Beyond: Two Souls includes 1080p visuals and a wealth of other new effects, such as motion blur, depth of field, and enhanced lighting and shadows. It also uses the DualShock 4 speaker for when players are controlling the Entity. The difficult has also been bumped up in certain scenes, and the re-release also includes the ‘Enhanced Experiments’ DLC.  Read our full review of Beyond on PS4 to see what we thought of the updated version.

Beyond: Two Souls stars Hollywood heavyweights Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, and takes gamers on journey of discovery through the life of Jodie Holmes (Page), who attempts to uncover the mysteries behind her supernatural powers. Along the way, she comes into contact with Dr. Dawkins (Dafoe), as the pair unravel the psychic link between Holmes and the unknown entity called Aiden.

Heavy Rain will be released as a digital download alongside the Quantic Dream Collection in early March, although Sony hasn’t detailed any of the enhancements the PS4 version will introduce as of yet. The game features multiple playable characters as players attempt to solve the mystery of the Origami Killer, with your decisions able to determine the fate of a number of key individuals throughout the adventure.
