PS5 Celebrates First Anniversary, Top Played PS5 Games Revealed As Users Collectively Log 4.6 Billion Gameplay Hours

Sony Interactive Entertainment is celebrating PS5‘s first birthday today, with the console having launch in North America on November 12, 20220 – yes, it’s already been a whole year.

To mark the occasion, the hardware giant has rolled out the obligatory list of stats, including the fact PS5 owners have collectively logged 4.6 billion hours of gameplay. That’s a lot of gaming considering the console hasn’t been readily available for a whole year.

Elsewhere, PlayStation boss Jim Ryan also revealed the Top 10 most-played PS5 games to date, and it’s a bit predictable to be honest, but still worth checking out nonetheless.
