With our PS5 hardware review now out in the wild, we are able to take about the PS5 in a lot more detail, and one of those things we are talking about is the PS5 game install times, which are incredibly fast.
In actuality, the install time of games is ridiculously fast, less than a second to be precise. Our reviewer, John-Paul Jones, took the time to install Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered on his PS5 as he was reviewing it and after the game had finished downloading he found that it installed in the blink of an eye. Now, the times might change for each game, especially for those that are larger, such as Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, which is 133 GB on PS5. But the days of lengthy install times are hopefully a thing of the past, especially seeing as Hot Pursuit Remastered is almost 24 GB itself.
