Best Local Multiplayer Game – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
Ah, local multiplayer. Who doesn’t have fond memories of four-player GoldenEye or Mario Kart 64 back in the 90s? Or going at it in a heated bout of Tekken 3 on PSOne? Sure, so many titles are online-based nowadays, but there’s something to be said for having some mates over and engaging in old-fashioned multiplayer antics. And beer, don’t forget the beer.
This year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is the perfect example of fantastic local multiplayer, which is why it won our vote in our annual Game Awards. Cowabunga, dude!
