PUBG Corp. has reportedly announced that PUBG 2.0 and PUBG Mobile 2.0 are in the pipeline, which means we’re probably looking at multiformat release including PS5.
PUBG has remained one of the most popular battle royale games on the market, and is currently available on PS4, PC, Xbox One and mobile platforms. The fact the company is looking to further evolve the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds IP is unsurprising.

While the info has been translated from a Korean publication, it mentions PUBG at numerous times in the piece, indicating that PUBG 2.0 and PUBG 2.0 Mobile is on the way in Q2 2021. Leaker PlayerIGN also suggests that cross-platform support is included between PC, consoles and mobile version son the game.
While it’s not yet confirmed if PUBG 2.0 will be coming to PS4 and PS5 or just one generation of consoles, we can’t see any reason why PS5 would be left out of the equation.
