RAD Bink Middleware SDK Hits 1.0, Suggests PS5 NDA Is Now Over

For those unaware, Rad Bink middleware is a handy tool that developers use to supplement major game engines such as the Unreal Engine and CryEngine.

The PS5 is slated for release in holiday 2020, and Sony had originally planned a digital showcase for later today. However, that has been delayed until further notice due to the riots currently taking place in the US.

Developers have been heaping praise on the new console as of late, particularly when it comes to the PS5 SSD. Epic Games recently revealed that it has had to rewrite bits of the Unreal Engine 5 with the console’s SSD in mind.
