Ubisoft has announced that it has kicked off the Rainbow Six Siege Money Heist event, which runs today until November 25. The event forms part of a collaboration with streaming giant Netflix, and is based off its Spanish-language series, Money Heist.
Rainbow Six Siege Money Heist Detailed
So, how does it work? Money Heist takes the form of a classic Hostage match, which sees Attackers and Defenders scrapping it out over a Hostage dressed in the series’ mask and red jumpsuit. In addition, both Hibana and Vigil come equipped with the same look if you’re playing them.
Here’s some more info via Ubisoft’s blurb:
A full set of four items for both Hibana and Vigil will become available for purchase in the shop during the event and will be there for approximately a year.
Hibana’s Heist Bundle contains the Red Jumpsuit uniform, Emboldened headgear, Tokyo charm and Regal Mint weapon skin for the TYPE-89.
Vigil’s Accomplice Bundle includes the Red Jumpsuit uniform, Nameless headgear, The Surrealist charm and Fresh Paper weapon skin for the K1A.
Elsewhere, it’s worth remembering that there’s a Rainbow Six Siege free weekend available November 21 – November 24, which gives you full access to the game’s maps, modes, and operators. Ubisoft is also gearing up for the release of a major title update, which revamps the limb penetration system.
Rainbow Six Siege was released for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One back in December 2015. The game had a bit of a shaky start, but Ubisoft has been supporting the shooter consistently ever since, and it’s fair to say the game has come a long way from its vanilla edition.

In fact, Ubisoft has revealed that it intends to continue producing content for Rainbow Six Siege rather than pumping out a sequel. We also know that the company is going to bring the game to the PS5 at some point.
