Remedy Announces Control Resonant Has Gone Gold

Control Resonant has officially gone gold ahead of its September 2026 release, developer Remedy Entertainment has announced.

Here’s what the studio had to say on its official X account:

CONTROL Resonant has gone gold! Get ready to unleash Dylan Faden’s paranatural abilities in warped Manhattan on September 24th. The physical release date for the game has moved to October 15th. We need just a little more time to deliver the physical version to you, but rest assured – nothing stays contained forever.

Speaking with TechRadar late last month, Sergey Mohov, Gameplay Designer for Control Resonant, revealed that the game should last around 30 hours in terms of the “core experience,” but noted players can put around 50 hours into the game if they want to find everything on offer.

Control Resonant takes places in Manhattan, where the Federal Bureau of Control is running out of options as it faces an unprecedented paranatural crisis. Dylan Faden is dispatched by the FBC to take on a mysterious cosmic entity that tinkering with the fundamental aspects of our reality, and therefore it’s up to Faden to harness his supernatural abilities and face off against a series of mind-bending threats.

Remedy will publish Control Resonant for the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on September 24, 2026.
