Capcom has detailed the Resident Evil 3 remake Assist mode, which allows players who are taking a bit of a battering to dial things down a little and take the pressure off. If you’ve played the original 1999 version, it’s quite similar to Easy Mode.
Resident Evil 3 Remake Assist Mode
Assist Mode gives players regenerating health, an assault rifle for added firepower, extra ammunition, and weaker enemies.
As mentioned, this is similar to the original game, with Easy Mode giving players an assault rifle plus a bunch of extra weapons in your item box, including the shotgun and magnum. Jill also had more healing items to back her up, including a First-Aid box.
Resident Evil 3 remake is pencilled in for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on April 3. The game also ships with Resident Evil Resistance, a multiplayer title that pits four survivors against the Mastermind, as they attempt to solve puzzles and avoid your enemy’s traps and hazards. ]

Resident Evil 3 takes place 24 hours before and after Resident Evil 2, although you’ll be exploring brand new areas of the city, as well as meeting up with survivors of Umbrella’s Biohazard Countermeasure Service.
Jill’s mission to escape Raccoon City sees her battling against not only zombies and other T-Virus monstrosities, but also a relentless new Tyrant known as the Nemesis, which has been programmed by Umbrella to hunt down and terminate all surviving S.T.A.R.S. members.
