Those of you looking for a steelbook version of the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake can rest easy: There is going to be one, but unfortunately, it’s only available at Best Buy. Quite why this item isn’t included in the Collector’s Edition of the survival horror remake is anyone’s guess, especially as Resident Evil 2 featured one.
Resident Evil 3 Remake Steelbook
To be fair, it’s not a bad deal. Best Buy is offering anyone who purchases the Resident Evil 3 remake on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One a Steelbook case, which features Nemesis and Jill Valentine on the front and back, respectively. This would usually set you back $19.99.

The game takes place 24 hours before and after Resident Evil 2, with ex-S.T.A.R.S. agent Jill Valentine attempting to escape a zombie-infested Raccoon City.
However, Valentine’s mission sees her battling against not only zombies and other T-Virus monstrosities, but also a relentless new Tyrant known as the Nemesis, which has been programmed by Umbrella to hunt down and terminate all surviving S.T.A.R.S. members.
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was originally released for the PSOne back in 1999, and is known as Biohazard: Last Escape in Japan. The game was also ported to PC, GameCube, and Dreamcast over the years.
Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weapon: Nemesis! Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe.
