Capcom has officially announced the Resident Evil Village Re:Verse Multiplayer mode, which will launch alongside the game. It will only be available on PS4, but PS5 players can play the game through backwards compatibility. Alongside the reveal trailer, we have the first details of what to expect:
Resident Evil Reverse is essentially a kind of Resident Evil All Stars that allows multiple players to pit different characters from the franchise against each other in four-to-six person deathmatches. It will also be free for owners of Village.

This multiplayer mode was leaked earlier today on storefronts after the Steam DB listing for the game hinted at multiplayer components to Resident Evil Village.
