Rumor – Sony Reportedly Set For Third-Party Content Reveals ‘Very Soon’

Leaker The Snitch has dropped off some tantalising tidbits in his public Discord server, with one of his sources claiming that PlayStation is gearing up for some third-party content announcements ‘very soon.’

A reliable source has dm me on Twitter to say that PlayStation is about to announce 3rd party stuff very soon.

The Snitch had previously said that he was taking a break from leaking and such things, although it’s important to note that he wasn’t the one breaking this story — it was a source that contacted him.

Regarding third-party content, it has been heavily rumoured that Metal Gear Solid PS5 remake will be unveiled in the next couple of months, which would certainly fit the bill.

Sony has PSVR 2 launching just around the corner, so there’s a chance we could hear more about third-party content for the new headset, as well as PS5 of course.

Presumably State of Play will be the platform for which to announce any third-party content as Sony has done the past few years, but the format holder is keeping mum on the topic for now.
