Sega and ATLUS will collaborate to host a special broadcast from the Tokyo Games Show next month. The stream will coincide with Sega New, which is a monthly live stream done on Sega Japan’s Official YouTube channel.
The upcoming livestream will go over the “newest titles from Sega and Atlus.” The live stream will commence on September 21 at 7 pm Japan time, 3 am PT, 6 am ET, and 11 am BST. Aside from this, no other news has been given regarding the topic, so fans will have to wait and see what will be announced.
Sega and Atlus have upcoming games they are preparing releases for which may be featured in their presentation. Sonic Superstars is set to release on October 17th. The Yakuza series has Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name releasing on November 9th, as well as Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth planned for early 2024. All of these will likely appear during the broadcast.
Sega has considered more remakes and reboots for its iconic Sonic the Hedgehog property alongside new titles, so we could see more about that in their live stream. We could also see more information from the most recently teased Sonic Frontiers Update, too.
Elsewhere, Atlus is gearing up for their release of Persona 5 Tactica on November 17th, and the remake Persona 3: Reload on February 2nd, 2024. Alongside the Persona 3 remake, there are rumors that Atlus would like to remake the first two entries in the Persona franchise. This coincides with recent reports on Atlus making multiple persona games, including a brand new fighting entry in the series.
